With a BSc in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology, and an MSc in Counselling, I’ve built a solid foundation of experience over the years as a counsellor through client work and knowledge that informs my practice. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO), I prioritise professionalism and ethical standards in all my work.
My work experience ranges from a variety of mental health settings including working in a low-cost counselling service, a women’s centre, the NHS and interning in a psychosomatic clinic.
Also, I have other experiences working with mental health issues in other settings such as aiding people in unemployment and in the workplace. These included supporting people who have faced long-term unemployment and the psychological challenges that come with it, whilst helping them find employment that is suitable to their strengths and manageable for their condition. I’ve also supported those dealing with intense levels of workplace and life stressors, helping them maintain their employment while finding a healthier work life balance.
